Live as a Prince, not an Orphan

All of God’s people experience Him differently.  I often experience the Holy Spirit in a conversation, and recently He led me to start posting some of our conversations.  I speak in italics, and our Lord in bold print. click here to read about how this series came to be.

No longer live as an orphan. Live as a prince. But not so you may lord it over others, but so you may walk as one with the full might and power of the Kingdom behind you, utterly without fear. This is why you may fear the King, but no other. The King is the only one with any real power over you. And if anyone harms a prince, a son of the King, without my permission, they answer to ME. And it is a fearful thing to fall under the wrath of the One True King, for vengeance is mine to administer, and justice is mine to enforce. So this is how you go about this life as an adopted son of God…as if a prince among men, backed by power beyond imagination, though holding this lightly and gently and administering it with kindness and grace.
