What does it mean to have freedom in Christ?

All of God’s people experience Him differently.  I often experience the Holy Spirit in a conversation, and recently He led me to start posting some of our conversations.  I speak in italics, and our Lord in bold print. click here to read about how this series came to be.

What does it really mean to have “freedom in Christ”? How can I be free of this anxiety I experience?

To have “freedom in Christ” is to be free of worry, free of doubt, free of stress or angst or fear. That feeling in your stomach, that twisting anxiousness in your gut? It is gone when you are truly free. You are not granted freedom from pain, or struggle, or loss. Freedom from these things only occurs when your soul has been transported from the dying kingdom you are in now to my Eternal Kingdom. But even now you can be free from the worry and fear of these things by complete trust and dependence on me.
