Blaspheming the Holy Spirit – Unforgivable?

All of God’s people experience Him differently.  I often experience the Holy Spirit in a conversation, and recently He led me to start posting some of our conversations.  I speak in italics, and our Lord in bold print. click here to read about how this series came to be.

Heavenly Father, why did Jesus say that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is an unpardonable sin?  How is there such a thing?

To blaspheme the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven because He is part of the Holy Trinity, and it is the Spirit that draws and calls you to salvation.  To treat my Holy Spirit as evil, to blaspheme Him and call Him unholy, ends his work of calling and drawing.  Without the Spirit’s work in your life, there is no forgiveness of sins.
